Ask A Question
What label does this gun use?
This gun uses the CT4 26mm by 12mm label. These labels are available from pricegunland in white or yellow. You also have the option of permanent or peelable adhesive.
What ink roller does this gun use?
The Motex 2612/6 pricing gun uses the Motex Ink roller. Also reffered to as the E4 ink roller.
Does this gun automatically put in a decimal point or can you use it with six numbers e.g 123456 rather than £23.56?
The decimal point is an optional character. For example the gun may be used to produce £15.99 (note total of six characters including the decimal point) or can be used to produce six numbers ranging from 1-9 e.g 123456 or 918273.
What colour are the labels that come with the gun and are they the permanent or peelable ones?
The guns are supplied with white labels and have a peelable adhesive.
Do these guns price up in euros as well as pounds?
Yes. The Motex 2612/6 pricing gun has the Euro character aswell as the Pound Sterling character.
How do you load a MX 6600 with labels?
We do not currently supply the MX 6600, but we can offer advice on how to help you load this gun. Please call us on 08706 260315.
Does the Motex 2612/6 come complete with an ink roller?
The Motex 2612/6 comes with one ink roller pre-loaded. We also sell them in a pack of 5 on the website, which is the E4 Price Gun Ink Roller. Alternatively if you buy the pricing gun as part of the starter pack you receive an extra ink roller and 16,000 labels. And of course, as with all our products, free delivery is included.
Does the motex 2612/6 come with a row of blanks in the character band? I need to be able to price in pence only for some items. e.g. 99p.
Yes, the pricing gun does allow for blank spaces to be printed. Kind regards, Pricegunland.co.uk
Can they be made to your own specification. eg . if i need the $ sign instead of the £
The Motex 2612/6 pricing gun has the Dollar ($), Euro (€) and Pound (£) signs on the 1st band of its character set and also has the Pound (£) sign on the 2nd and 3rd band too. You can view the full character set for the Motex 2612/6 pricing gun by looking at the items web page which is listed on the home page and under the 'Price Guns - 1 Line' section of our website. If you need any more help then please call our sales team on 08706 260315.
Is it possible to get instructions for loading the MoTex MX-2612 Price Gun and which labels it takes.
If you would be able to contact a Price Gun Land representative on 08706 260315 with a fax number or address we will send you the information regarding the Motex MX-2612 directly. The labels you require for the Motex pricing gun are the CT4 labels and can be found under the 'Price Gun Labels - 1 Line' section on our website. They come in 3 colours (White, Yellow or Flourescent) with peelable or permanent adhesive.
I'm looking at the Motex 2612/6 price gun -- it looks good.
However, the image of the labels suggests that the printed characters are quite 'thin'.
I am looking for a gun that prints the clearest characters that it's possible to fit on a standard size label -- 6 across is large enough for us.
Also, 26mm is a bit wide, some of our products are quite small.
So, in conclusion, ideally we need labels about 22x12 or 22x10, and a gun that prints six clear bold characters across.
Sorry to be so picky but can you help?
Hi Alan, for a label size of 22mm x 12mm I can recommend either the Motex MX-5500 or the Puma P-JH6 pricing gun. The Puma has slightly bolder print than the Motex so this would probably be the better pricing gun for you to use. If you need further information or would like to place an order our contact number is 08706 260315. Thank you. www.pricegunland.co.uk
Will the labels and glue be suitable to attach to cloth (for attaching price to cloth jam pot covers)
Hi, to be totally sure that the labels would work when applied to cloth we would have to send you a sample to test. Please can you email your details to firstname.lastname@example.org and we shall have some labels sent out to you. Regards, Rich. www.pricegunland.co.uk
Are best before labels available for this price gun labeller ?
Yes 'Best Before' labels will work in this price gun. A better pricing gun to use these labels with is the motex 2612/9 price gun as this can do full numeric dates (02.05.08). You may also wish to look at a date coding pricing gun which can produce abbrievated dates (02MAY2008).
Hi interested in this Motex 2612/6 would i be able to put a code aswell as the price on the labelor would it just be a price. it is mostly for 50p items of cards for our Church Shop. Thanks
Hi, The Motex 2612/6 is only able to print one line therefore you would only be able to have your price on the label, to produce a code you would then have to use another label. If you wanted both bits on information on one label you could instead purchase the Motex 2616 /10/10 which will allow to have 10 digits on each line. Click on the following link to view the product: Motex 2616 /10/10 Pricing Gun. Regards, Rich. Pricegunland.co.uk
I'm interested in buying the Motex 26l2/6 Pricing gun. Can you despatch to Malta, Europe. If yes, what is cost for postage?
Hi, Yes, we can deliver to Malta and the price would be approximately £16. If you would like anymore information regarding this service/product please email us at email@example.com. Regards, Rich. www.pricegunland.co.uk
Hi, does the motex 2612 gun help with the squeezing aspect when using it or do you have to squeeze the handle fully yourself? Hope that makes sense!
Hi Susan, with the Motex 2612 you have to squeeze the handle fully yourself to make it produce the labels. Kind regards, Pricegunland.co.uk
Hi, what are the main differences between the motex 2612 and the 5500 as they look identical?
The main difference is the label size used, the Motex 2612 uses the CT4 label which measures 26mm x 12mm, whereas the Motex 5500 uses the CT1 label which is 22mm x 12mm. In addition to this there are some differences in the band layout (what each gun is capable of printing). Please click on the veiw details tab on each product and you will see the band configuration for each of the guns.
I hope this helps, if you have any further questions or queries please let me know.
Hi, How much would it be for postage to Southern Ireland and also how much is the Motex 2612/6 with the bolder print. Thanks
Thank you for your enquiry.
We can ship to ROI, the shipping cost id £10.00, unfortunately we do not do this gun with bolder print, the only gun we do that has the bolder text is the Lynx C6 Super Bold gun.
Please let me know if I can help further.
